1. New network for singles

SDU now becomes SDN, and there will be "no fee for joining its network, which gives access to, among other things, its web portal, magazine, and information on events planned by SDN and its partners"

i dunno if i have been a member, i remember receiving some forms, alright, i m part of the problem which the govt is trying to get a solution.

Recently i received their magazines which often end up in the recycling bin once they arrived. nothing great about the content and their events are really dry, perhaps will inform them to remove me from the mailing list. i m doing my part to save the trees and helping this agency to cut expenditure on the postage and manpower.

2. Pensions: S'pore ranks low

This is really saddening...

"SINGAPORE has done relatively poorly in a new survey on one of the toughest policy issues facing nations around the globe - how to ensure adequate income for the growing numbers of retirees."

ermm...but i thought those older ministers are on generous pension scheme?

3. S'pore exports up 3%
